There’s been a lot of hype about Portal 2 since it came out, and I gotta tell you…buying this game for $25 is worth it. But the worst thing is as you get near the end of the game, the whole game turns into one big spoiler, so how about this: I’ll tell you what I can in this part, then I’ll warn you about spoilers, and then spoil the whole ending near the bottom, savvy?

Sorry to sound all “Hey people I’m back” when I ain’t getting comments, HOWEVER, I have good news that’ll probably get more comments AND help my YouTube channel.  Yes, I have a YouTube channel.  The username is Darkspacer1.  Hopefully I’ll get more views. I haven’t been really getting views…

Know what I’ve been doing?  YOUTUBE, YOUTUBE, AND MORE COUNTER STRIKE…ER, YOUTUBE!  I’m also working on a game called Block Run.  Anyone want to play it, send me your email with your want to play, and I’ll send it over!  But PLEASE don’t distribute it yet.  It’s incomplete, and I don’t want people stealing ideas or giving away the story.

On second thought, screw that.  Anyone who wants to TEST the game, send me your email with a request and I’ll send it.

Maybe not even that.  We’ll see.

Meanwhile, I’m viewing great YouTube videos.  My work’s pretty much cut out for me.

The only thing bad here is Sunni, my dog.  She’s been getting so manipulative. I’m alone in the house, and she starts whining and barking like she’s shocked that her puppies died (no, she doesn’t actually have puppies).  I get through it.

Oh yeah. My 1.5th favorite user on YouTube is Irategamer.  This guy is a master at reviewing games.  Recently he reviewed Sonic Unleashed, and hated it (he hates most of the games he reviews…).  And he uncovered a shocking truth:

Super Mario Brothers: The Lost Levels was actually the ORIGINAL Super Mario Brothers 2 released only in Japan!  So OUR SMB 2 came from…well, watch this to find out (hint: Nintendo sucked)!

News on Toad’s Tool 64:  It’s now up to v0.5.998.  Features are basically the same, but version 0.6.0 will have a rudimentary polygon level importer and a background importer.

News on Mario Landscaper:  ……..wha?  It’s dead?  No news?  not ONE MENTION?  WHAT THE F***??  For all I know, It’s been scrapped.

News on Frame By Frame:  Hmmm…not much to say.

News on Yellow (renamed Agent 1):  Um…um…not going anywhere.  Connor has everything, and he hasn’t been giving me them, so honestly, I don’t really know.

SO that’s what’s been happening.  not a whole lot, but some things.  TT64’s really biting the dust, though.  0.6.0 was supposed to come out April 10!  Soo…yeah.

ONE MORE THING…Super Mario Galaxy 2 is going to come out!  Probably next year, probably this year, I’m not exactly sure, but the game looks good (IT HAS COLORED YOSHIS!  HOORAY FOR THE CUTE LITTLE YOSHIS!!!)  They could work on the name though…Super Mario Universe would be cool.

Have you ever heard of Songsmith?

The idea of the program is to have an application to generate songs directly from voice/insterment input.  So say you sing a rock-like verse at 240 bpm (yeah that’s fast, but WTH?).  Songsmith will then match the pitch you sang with the pitches in it’s database, and then…um…well…

uh………………………….I’m not REALLY sure, but it creates a really great song out of anything, even if you stutter (YES IT WILL I saw a video of it).

Yess.  I’m changing to Stanbridge Academy this summer.  I think it would be a really nice school.  SO the Frame by Frame club may statt there.  It may not.

ALSO any chance of finding the Super Mario 64 Beta ROM?  I want that bad.  Don’t give me links to images or info, I know it was origonally called Super Mario FX, and I’ve seen the videos.  All of them.  And no pranks!  I’ve already been caught by one once on YouTube until I saw the comments (the user stupidly commented on “I need to do a prank every so often”).  If it would help, I think searching for it on Japenese pages would be eiser (and having Google translate it).  And the worst thing is, the ROM download isn’t even hinted at without it being a prank.  From what I’ve seen.

You can give me Mario Kart 64 Beta if you can’t find SM64, and if you can’t find that, that’s fine *whine*.

I have no idea what to write, and I just found this title in an erlier deleted post, so I decided to use it.

If you log in just to post to me (and I know only an anti-cyberspace guy who dosen’t know about blogs will do this), and you flame me, then off with you!

I don’t know what a GMOD is!  I don’t even have the software for it.  I tried SourceForge but they’re all in a .tar.pz or some unrunnable format.  I just saw all of these Mario GMODs: A half-Life GMOD, Game Over, and a whole bunch of oher GMODS. I actually think they’re for Half-life and/or the 3D Gamemaker.

I guess I’m really lazy.  REALLY lazy.  Anyway,  there was a name change to the Yellow game and it is renamed “Agent 1”.  You might think it’s obvious and crappy in that way, but believe me, it’s going to be good.  I hope.  I hope it’s going to be woken up.  We haven’t exactly been working on it.  The layout on the site has been changed also.  TT64’s been released, though!  Awsome!  You can download it at http://patrick.mcgeeplace.com/mfs/download.htm.  The ROM is available there also.  I might put in an explanatioon of the other tools for your convenience:

Text Wrangler:

This is a tool to edit the text boxes in SM64.  Obviously they wouldn’t be put in as images, so they can be edited with ease.  You have to pay attention to the number of letters to a line, or else it would go off the text box and you wouldn’t be able to see them in-game.

ROM extender:

This “extends” the 8mb ROM to 24 mb so it can be edited with the Text Wrangler and Toad’s Tool.  By the way, you can ONLY feed in a SM64 UNEXTENDED ROM, it reads the number of bytes, so mae sure the ROM wasn’t compressed, modified, or otherwise altered in any way.
